i heard the story
of the tortoise and hare
but no one mentioned
the snail who was there
who barely moved
and couldn't less care
because his business was
not to rush or compare...
his speed and his pace
to those in that place
who lose time to save face
but miss all the grace
in their hurry to ace
every moment in space.
slow and steady wins the race
but who cares about racing
when the best part of life
is enjoying the spacing.
