Hmmm...about me... I'm a good ol' southern girl with a priority list that begins with my family and friends. I was raised in Louisiana (GEAUX TIGERS), and upon completion of my Master's Degree, I moved to sunny Florida to pursue Doctoral programs. I'm an Intake Specialist/Mental Health Case Manager in Fort Lauderdale by day and a bartender by night (because obviously the mental health field just isn't handling up). Although I love Florida, I am really missing my peeps back home. BUT, I am having a REDICULOUS time here in the Sunshine State, and I love meeting new people that are genuine, drama-free, and like to have good times. I love crawfish, imported beers, 5-star restaurants, live music, college football, shopping, the ocean, the sun, and most of all, I love chillin' with my French bulldogs Addie and Missy. What do I hate? Complicated people, scandelous chics, bad drivers (I have the worst case of chronic road rage), drugs, and cheaters. I'm a patient, tolerant person, but there are some unfortunate souls that have witnessed the claws come out. My extreme independence has often been labeled as "hard-headedness" and my bosses at work refer to me as "Mouth" because it's impossible for me NOT to have the last word. The truth is that I believe in what's fair and decent, and I'll stand up against anything outside of that. I believe in good ol' southern hospitality because you never know whose lives could be touched by your kindness and consideration.
