John Mader

Played drums for Grammy winners Pat Benatar, Patti Austin, and Booker T. Jones (Booker T. and the MG's). John has also worked with chart toppers Stephen Jenkins (Third Eye Blind), Steve Miller, Steven Bishop, Lenny Williams (Tower of Power), The Family Stone, and Angela Bofil. In the summer of 2008, John had the privilege of playing New York City's Lincoln Center with James Brown alumni Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, and Martha High. John works regularly with bass player supergroup BX3 featuring Stu Hamm, Jeff Berlin, and Billy Sheehan. John has also played the Tony Award winning musicals Rent, The Lion King, Wicked (world premier), Mamma Mia and the critically acclaimed Caroline or Change. John is excited to be currently working with San Francisco's top rock group American Drag. In his "spare" time, John has a successful teaching practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.
