About Me

Veronica Hatton was born in Savannah, Georgia. Her parents divorced when she was a baby. Veronica's mother raised her without any help from her father. It was obvious when Veronica began talking that God had blessed her with a beautiful voice. Family members recall Veronica asking her Mama to sing, "rock a bye baby," with her. As a youth, she performed a lot in plays and enjoyed chorus. She was selected to perfom with an elite choir in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At the age of 10, Veronica and her Mom moved to North Carolina. Veronica continued singing and performing. She was heavily involved in extracurricular activities in middle school, high school, and college. Veronica enjoyed helping others through civic organizations such as the key club and student government association. She excelled in running crosscountry and track and earned some scholarship money to attend the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Her compassion for the students and the community helped her to get elected Student Government Association President. In college, she performed in talent shows and scholarship pageants. She placed in 2 out of 3 scholarship pageants that she participated in. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2003 with a bachelor of science in psychology. After graduation, Veronica has done more then 10 singing auditions, including American Idol, Gimme the mike, Nashville Star, and the sing to win contest. She has performed on the legendary Wildhorse Saloon stage in Nashville, TN. Veronica has shined in karaoke contests. In 2007, she started her own karaoke/dj business. She conducted karaoke shows at the legendary Longbranch Saloon for more then a year. She has entertained at special events, corporate parties, club gigs, and weddings. Veronica has recorded 2 of her songs with professional musician and producer Lee Bogan. She released her songs and music myspace on January 31st, 2008. In March of 2008, Hatton started looking for band members. Soon after, she had a band and they called themselves, The Veronica Hatton Band. The group had their first gig October 24th, 2008. Veronica looks forward to playing out with the band more. She has 2 upbeat songs that she would like to record in the near future. Veronica feels optimistic that all of her hard work, dedication, and persistance will pay off. MySpace Codes MySpace Comments MySpace Layouts MySpace Pranks Upload Images
