"Hip Hop has been in my veins ever since..."Buying his first rap record at the age of thirteen, Masta Splinta soon became highly addicted to the culture of hip hop. It took 3 years for him to decide to move on from only consuming the music to really getting into it and creating his own sounds. Inspired by his cousin who had 2 turntables, Masta Splinta had a new goal: getting his own 1210s and becomming a DJ.
From now on you could see him mixin’n’scratchin’ twentyfour-seven. At the age of aighteen he started making music in clubs like Fuego, Bounce 87 or House Castle. Furthermore he was the live-DJ for local MC’s like S.U.B. Many mixtapes were released during this time.
After a while the power of rhymes overwelmed the DJ and he started writing own lyrics and busting freestyles. In the year 2005 he started cooperating with Jepa MC and King Mo, what led to the founding of Anonym Cru. First Splinta was only responseble for laying the beats down, scrachin’n’cuttin’, but than he got more and more involved in rapping. Today his skill levels in both subjects are nearly equal. MC and DJ... the complete satisfaction?...
...not yet, there are still a lot of things to dicover in rap music...
