Here to make friends, share thoughts, and give some love where I can. I generally enjoy art in all its forms and contemplating our existence.
I have a son who's 9 going on 16, and a West Highland Terrier named MacGregor who is quite smart and friendly, but keeps digging holes in my yard.
I'm a self-employed - and therefore struggling and starving - musician. Okay.. I'm not starving.. but I would be starving if I didn't have a pretty good paying day job.
I can be opinionated, but I respect all people's right to express whatever opinions they TRULY hold. I'm attracted to art, artists, people who know what love is, those who've seen the wisdom in trying to treat ALL people with respect. I also love bacon and hummus... though.. not together ...
I do not take myself too seriously, but do take seriously those things I undertake to do. I do not care for vain people, and despise those who misrepresent themselves in order to serve their own gain. Ultimately, I have faith in the power of the human heart. It's moved me in ways that still blow my mind. Oh yeah.. I should mention... I can be a real cornball. I thank God every day I have Tom as my friend. (chuckle... sorry Tom... can't help it... your presence on this website cracks me up.)
On a totally unrelated note: Is it just me... or is all this stupid consumerism crap we are constantly bomBARDed with day after day, after day, after day gotten way out of control!? There's no fucking escape! Buy this... Buy that! (See above banner ads... See below banner ads! lol It's everywhere!) It's not a good thing people. I'll be just fine if I don't buy the latest version of BK's processed chicken or try the latest version of Coke, thank you!
