Medieval recreation. Putting on armor and hitting people is a great stress reliever. Or maybe it's the feasting and drinking. Or perhaps it's intimate activities afterwards. Most likely it's a combination of all the above.

Comedy, action, & historical...so of course "Monte Python's Search for the Holy Grail" is among my favorites. The Princess Bride, 13th Warrior, Holy Land, Gladiator, The Vikings, are all favorites.
I rarely watch TV actually. I dislike "reality" type shows. The Shield, Rescue Me, & informative programming shows interest me. I also enjoy the military channel, history channel, & similar channels.
