Clone Killer is one of the most lyrically intriguing releases of recent years. Spanning death, murder, love, politics and science fiction, Caligula works with words like a basketweaver works with wicker. Simplified beats allow the words themselves to create the atmosphere, which must be a mad scientists laboratory. You enter into Caligulas twisted storybook through a dream and become more involved with each chapter. "I have a surgically implanted doomsday device/Set to ignite/The second I cease to breathe/To release disease." Harkening back to a group like Gravediggaz, Caligula lays it out quicker that you can digest the dismemberment. Whether its a twist in a storyline or a guest appearance by another MC, Clone Killer can surprise you at anytime. I was particularly caught off-guard by the Alec Baldwin sample. The best track on Clone Killer is Alex Krycek; a detailed account of the X-Files villains role in the alien infestation of humans set to ominous piano and swirling strings. With a listen to Clone Killer youll walk hand in hand with Caligula through the malicious world he refers to as Caligulanity.

Caligula brings hard core heat to fans world wide via his graphic rhymes, and flawless delivery. The Clone Killer EP is a diamond in the rough that fans need to bless with their undivided listening attention. Caligula is making noise, and everyone needs to take notice.
The most notable songs featured on the EP include Caligulanity, Better Than You, Clone Killer, and the bonus tracks Triple Shot, and Clone Killer remix. The EP contains seven (7) tracks, and an additional three (3) bonus tracks, some dated back & rare. The bonus tracks definitely add to the overall albums appeal. The music is heated.
The beats on the album are incredible. Lyrikill, God Aweful, and QuikieMart do an outstanding job with the production. The sounds & vibes grab fans, dazzle them, and allure them deep into the music where Caligulas rhyme prowess knocks them out.
Caligulas guests include Pathethic, Cadence, Kimani, Lyrikill, and Aesop of Living Legends. These guests contribute positively to the respective songs that they are featured in. Its always nice to see guest appearances on albums, especially when the guests make some lovely musical contributions.
Caligulas rhymes are well written, well delivered, very entertaining, captivating, and simply dazzling. Caligulas strongest attribute is his flow, intensity, and articulation. He rides the music like bare back swimsuit models ride photographers for cover shots. Seriously, Caligula demands attention with his music & hell slam a fans ear drums with raw intensity to get it.
The cover art is well put together, both graphically, and conceptually. Long Range Distribution did a great job with piecing everything together. Since Long Range Distribution is behind the release, it should receive some excellent distribution in America, so hopefully fans can find this release in their local record shop, or online at the home of Long Range Distribution.
Caligula is making mad noise, and fans need to tune in; otherwise, miss out on some of the best music they havent heard. If you sleep on this EP its a shame because this is a keystone piece to any collection & one of the most refreshing EPs to come our way in a while.
