I have always felt that music is what keeps the world in motion, and I have loved music and had a song on my lips, most hours of the day.. since I can remember..I was born in Manly and grew up in North Curl Curl, one of the many beautiful Sydney beaches..As a wee bambina I would chime a tune with my Australian Vaudeville comedian grandfather Stud Foley- he was a real showbiz dude, and his ukalalee ..and always be humin' a harmony in the kitchen with mum.I learned dance and have taught tap to kids..Sung and performed in different genres and styles..from a two year stint with the The Gilbert and Sullivan Society to gigs with Sydney funk New Orleans band Underbelly,to playing accoustic folk for the International Womens Festival...to Jazz which resonates strong in my heart..And the classical masters,I am addicted to ABC classic fm...I'm constantly in awe at what comes, how the macro and micro are workin..mmmm ...I write songs and poetry, and have written a short story for children for which my friend Reiko is illustrating and we hope to get it published soon...After a couple of years living in London, for the moment Perth skies are filling up my eyes..I have worked with some wonderful and great hearted musicians, who have taught me so much,in Oz and abroad, and hope to keep on meeting and working with artists who inspire me with their spirit and courage to share their music and themselves..Im really passionate about cultural diversity,I love the interchange, being home but also travelling into anothers heart, and country, sharing it...It is vital, and a wonderful, beautiful thing..I am still piecing my puzzle together..some songs that have been in the works for a while im about to give birth to em..kind of feels overdue, but getting there.and onwards we go..thankyou for visiting my page.Have a superdelicious day.
