dj8088 — is a nickname of one of the biggest activist of Russian speedcore and breakcore scenes. He is a promoter, DJ and artist from Russian far-eastern island Sakhalin (near Japan). He settled to Moscow in 1999.He started to DJ in year 2004 and his records collection started to grow-up too. In his sets you can find influence of 8-bit melodies (here is how 8088 comes from), some bastard- pop cuts and crazy breakcore beats, usually going to speedcore. His modern sets are powerful pack of dancefloor-oriented beats and melodies, which probably you know from tv-shows and radio.For the passed 5 years, he made more then 50 parties in Moscow with more than 30 foreign top breakcore/speedcore artists from all over the world. He helped to raise a scene all over Russia(Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, St.Petersburg and more), he was one of the co-founder of Russian underground culture festival "SICK" and AcidSamovar record label ( www.acidsamovar.org). In October 2007 he have founded Russian festival of hard electronic music – “Hard-2b-Core” (www.hard2bcore.ru), mostly dedicated to extreme flows in modern dance music industry. He continues to develop Russian breakcore scene, by supporting breakcore.ru forum.Year 2008 brought him a lot of travels all around Russia and Ukraine. He did Ukraine Tour with Rotator and Russian Siberian tour (5 cities) with BellaDonnaKillz. So, what will brings him year 2009?
