Tuesday Microgrooves
The newly founded jazz trio tuesday microgrooves dropped anchor in the musically haven of graz, austria. In January 2008 the journey started, playing something similar to Esbjoern Svensson Trio and Medeski, Martin and Wood, drum and bass, Erik Satie and Claude Debussy, funk and soul. The crew is made out of the captain Wolfgang Radl (composition and bass), the engine Norbert Wallner (composition and drums) and the first officer Jenö Lörincz (piano). With the singer Farina Miss the trio has found the perfect figurehead. After their first short intermission tuesday microgrooves started to venture out into unknown waters. They played a concert for the Grammy Award Winner and jazz pianist Chucho Valdés and have cooperated with the renowned visual artists of the Life Ball, ocho resotto. In may 2008 they won the Helix Board competition, and will thus be going to Cologne to record their next album in the Studio 301.
