It was nearly a decade ago Mama C began her chaotic quest behind the decks establishing a true devotion to the fusion of two heavy electronic genres: hardcore/gabber and drum’n’bass jungle. She simply refused to “just pick one†as she was often advised to. Instead she coined a brand new style that was simultaneously psychotic and nasty, energetic but with a morbid twist. The reaction was immense. End result: mayhem for the masses.Presently, Mama C has assimilated into the realm of the CDJ which has literally taken her back to her roots. As we speak she is wholeheartedly delving into the all encompassing “industrial/darkwave/EBM†spectrum. She now has multiple residencies and an extraordinarily versatile DJ resume under her belt which include straight up industrial nights, rave hybrids, infamous fetish parties, internet radio, alternative weddings, and eventually, the future 2010 Annual Gothic Cruise.Inevitably, you will be hearing some original masterpieces from Ms. C so keep those curious ears open.
