HELP SAVE JENNIFER JUANES- Register for Bone Marrow Today!....As most of you know, Jennifer was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) September 2, 2006 and has recently relapsed. Everyday Jen is fighting for her life! Jen went through 9 months of intense chemotherapy and was one month shy of her three year remission date when she began finding random bruises all over her body and woke up early Saturday morning with intense leg pain. Jen went to the ER that morning and hours later was told the devastating news that the Leukemia had come back. Jen needs a bone marrow donor. Given her unique ethnic make-up of ¼ Filipino, ¼ Caucasian and ½ Spanish it is more difficult to find a match. The National Bone Marrow Registry only has a handful of such potential donors, and the likelihood of them being a match is slim to none.....Jen is so, so young and has so much more to do and see in life. Her family needs her here, so please help raise awareness among the Asian/American community and encourage them to register their marrow through www.aadp.org . If you or ANYONE you know is a mix of Asian and Caucasian, PLEASE register today.........Please publicize this cause by posting it as your status and spreading it. Please act now!
