Born and raised in the valley of Southern California. Began by writing lyrics and poetry at an early age to help cope with the loss of my mother at age seven. Eventually grew tired of just words and picked up a guitar to add emotion. Heavily influenced early on by a wide range of music from Pink Floyd to Nirvana to Bad Religion to R.E.M to Tori Amos to the Beatles and Bob Dylan.
I moved to the east coast when I was 18 and played solo acoustic shows as well as with a few different bands (mostly heavy punk alternative) Years later life has finally slowed down and my music reflects this. My thoughts and ideas have drifted into many different directions to include the many amazing things that have occurred in my life over the years.
Music is the soundtrack for life and should be just as unpredictable. Everyday I see love, hate, happiness, sadness, lust, greed, redemption, sad endings, and miraculous beginnings. This is what I write about, this is what I sing about. Whether you like my music or not, it is an honest interpretation of life through the eyes of one human being among billions, just waking up everyday and trying to pull as much as possible from life before it fades one day to dust...
