About Me

Pippa Jaine, native born to the beautiful Islands of New Zealand, was uprooted & moved at the age of 9 to a small farming community in central California.. Leaving everything she knew to be familiar, Pippa Jaine quickly found herself alienated in a strange new land... America. Pippa fell into a depression at a young age and found herself, as time went by, excepting a small self-worth, making bad choices one after another & caught up in the street life with all its drama that low income communities seem to harbor..High School was rough but Pippa managed to keep her God given talents alive, singing at any chance and dancing with a local dance studio regularly. Hip hop became a big part of her world and began to shape, mold and influence her mind and creative abilities...It wasn't until after she overcame an extremely abusive relationship, falling into drugs and sex thereafter and running with hustlers and gangstas, Pippa discovered she was a gifted rapper in the midst of chaos.. Shutting down cats left and right by flowing, on paper, and in the studio Pippa Jaine found a whole new level of self-worth, respect and passion that allowed God to bring healing and restoration to a broken soul..Pippa has now had her good share of “grimmy spots” as she calls them, recording in sound proof blankets and what not. She also has had a couple investors along the way who had her recording in Hollywood on some decent equipment and has made a cameo appearance as herself in a movie call “Stereotype”. Along this road Pippa, with her inquisitive mind, has gained experience, learned her way around the equipment, knows a thing or two about some keys and just might surprise you with a track something proper. Pippa Jaine, “Kiwi blood, Cali status,” is ripe for the picking. A free spirited, passionate individual, incapable of pacifying any typical female rapper stereotype, has proven to have a distinct ability to spark curiosity, captivate an audience with her unique sound and leave them intrigued with a story like none other.Pippa Jaine, now 24, is proudly partnered with a non-profit organization called "A Prophetic Generation". She feels blessed to have been apart of "APG" and their panel discussions (held at Detroit's Wayne State University and at NYU) Fall & Winter of 06. She is looking forward to being in Detroit this Summer, not only to record her album with amazing producers, but to participate in APG's "Hip Hop 4 Habitat's" blitz build that the Detroit Hip hop community is backing in order to help families in need and restore neighborhoods.. It's going to be an exciting year! God bless you all.... -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- ---- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
