2008 Presidential Primary/Caucus Voter Registration Deadlines

Alabama
January 26, 2008 is the last day to register to vote in the presidential preference primary. (10 days before the election). Applications must be postmarked or delivered by the eleventh day prior to the election. http://www.sos.state.al.us/election/index.aspx

Arizona

Colorado
January 7, 2008 is the last day to register to vote for the February 5th precinct caucus.

Idaho

Illinois

Indiana
April 7, 2008 is the last day to register to vote before the primary. (29 days before the election) http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/

Iowa
Eligible Iowans may register to caucus with the Democratic or Republican party on the evening of the caucus at the caucus location, or prior to the caucus date if registration application is delivered by 5 p.m. 10 days before the election, if it is a state primary or general election; 11 days before all others. Maine
New registrants or voters who are registered as unaffiliated or independent may register with either party on the day of the caucuses. Voters who are registered with a party may switch to another party up until 15 days before the caucuses. For those wishing to switch to Democrat, the deadline is January. Michigan

Minnesota
January 16, 2008 is the last day to register before the primary. Mississippi

Missouri

Montana
May 5 is the close of regular voter registration for the June 3, 2008 primary election.

Nebraska
