A LITTLE HISTORY ON ME: Born and raised in Burbank, CA. Actually, I was adopted. In High School I hung out with the "Low Riders" but I had a "Surfer" boyfriend. Lots of great memories there. After high school my time and energies went into the sport of Motocross. (Not the X-Games version.) I was supporter, coach, mechanic, driver, wife and friend to many. I logged a lot of miles over many years on the back of street machines. Mainly BMWs. In what seems like another lifetime I'd take my cars up to Willow Springs for my own learning. MISS DOING THAT.
I have one son, who was born in 1980. He was married in 2002. I am so proud of his accomplishments and so happy that he is getting the opportunity to do things in life that I did not and probably will not do. For most of my son's life I have been a single mom. No, it's not easy, you're right, but I think we both came through that time fairly well. I spoiled him and he pretended to do as I instructed. I fought the school system on his behalf (he is dyslexic) and he figured out how to 'work' the school system. When he moved out on his own I found out that HE DID LISTEN TO ME AFTER ALL. He kept his apartment clean! LOL!
I am passionate over the plight and treatment of CATS AND DOGS. Homeless as well as with Two-Legs. So many people seem to forget that these are living, breathing, thinking and feeling creatures that we share the Earth with. I have a small handful of cats and I volunteer for two non-profit pet rescue organizations PRECIOUS PAWS and LIFELINE FOR PETS. For "Precious Paws" I am on the Board of Directors. I do a lot of their internet "work". (Including their My Space pages. Find those links elsewhere on this page.) This past year (2008) I created either MySpace pages or websites for the non-profit "Tails Of Joy", as well as it's founder, and the "On Shore Foundation".
Always flirting and flitting about the TV and MOTION PICTURE industry people and celebrities through family and friends. Since the early '70's at least. Oh, wait, I guess I should count the people I went to school in Burbank with since Jr. High (aka middle school). There are times when life is really fun.
"*"Sunset Dawn"*" is me. It is a term I started using many years ago to explain all the late night hours of typing and writing on behalf of pets. Fliers, educational material, documents, more documents, pet bios, then along came the internet and email and the rest you can guess.
Now I am doing website design and have even done some MySpace pages for people. All under "Sunset Dawn". So, until I win the lottery: With my kitties, my family & friends and my computer I am all set. WAIT! OK, add the Car, the Fireplace and the AC to that.
Young at heart and still dressed and ready to go.

Since this slideshow was made ... Two cats have passed away - Soccer and Tuffie (Summer & Fall of '08). Two new cats are testing the waters to see if they can fill some very big 'paws' in my heart.
