WOW!!!! Where should I start?????? From day one the devil has tried to end my life. As a new born baby it was a miracle that I survived birth. With the cord around my neck, the Drs did an emergency C-section or I would have died. Then when I went for my 2 wk checkup my mom was told that I would never walk,(w/o a miracle) I was diagnosed with conginatal hip dysplacia. God was good to me my first yr, I was a live & walking!!!!!!!!!!I turned 1 Jan 16th, & went in for my 1 yr checkup & had the pink eye, then it went into the other eye then back to the right eye again. At this point I had become blind, I was unable to see, not even my food or cup in order to feed myself. I was put into the hospital and had a biopsy done on both eyes, Drs reported that I had retina blastoma. I was going to lose 1 possible both eyes to this cancer,(w/o a miracle). After 2 weeks of being blind, God restored my eyes, NO CANCER !!! June 1990 I was 17 mons old. I woke up one morning with one side of my face paralized. We made a trip back to the Hispital for some more test, Drs were thinking that there might be cancer in my lymphnodes. My moma was thinking beals palsy. She was told that the paralizes in my face would more than likely never go away, (w/o a miracle). But God had other plans. No cancer,no paralizes. For the next couple of months I ran around play, laughing as a normal healthy baby girl. Then on Tuesday morning August 16 1990, I had a very swollen tummy, it was hurting. I couldn't bend over & if I fell down I couldn't get up. So my moma called my Dr. even though I had been to see him the Thurday before and got a good report all was well, he wanted her to bring me in quickly. He pushed around on my tummy & sent me directly to Cook Childrens Hospital. That night my moma & dad got one of the most horrible news a parent could get.Your baby girl has Luekimia. Acute Myloblastic Luekimia. The most agressive form. In was in 80% of my blood, bone marrow, & spinal fluid. But the Thursday before I was clean & clear??? What is going on???? VERY AGGRESSIVE. My chemo was started the next day, we had to get busy with this, we could not waste anytime. I was one sick little baby girl. One night about 2-3 in the morning I went into respitory failure, code blue was called over the intercom, the next thing I know I was rushed into ICU. There were tubes running in & out of me. I was on a ventilator. It didn't look good for me at this point(w/o a miracle). I laid there in a medical induced coma unable to be held by my moma for 2 long weeks. On Sunday morning Sept 30,1999 the Dr's woke my moma up at 6:00am to tell her that I wasn't getting any better, the ventilator was working at 100%, my lungs were harding & there was no more that could be done. And they needed to make arrangement for my passing. On that same day about 2pm my mom, dad & 2 oldest sisters were on a four way call with each other, my mom annointed my head with oil & they began to Pray that God would send down another Miracle. The Drs said they would leave me on the ventilator until Friday in hopes some change. Then Friday Oct 5th, 1990 at 8am the Dr started slowly turning down the ventilator, saying that because this machine had been breathing at full force for me for 3 weeks now, that I would not live long after it was turned off & removed from my throat(w/o a miracle). At 12:00 noon, I was back on the 3rd floor, the H/O floor, the floor were the children go for cancer treatment at Cook Childrens Hospital. Room 3006, I was having a PIZZA party. Drs & Nurses from all over the hospital were coming by to visit me at my pizza party. That's Right Miracles Do happen. That was the 5th Miracle I had received from God, but it wasn't the last one. There is more. I will add more later, I gotta go for now.
