With influences from Jimi Hendrix to Jazzy Jeff, he possesses the X-traordinary ability to entertain audiences from hip-hop to rock, this New Orleans native aspired to be a pioneer and innovative force within the music industry. MACHETE X has performed at THE HARD ROCK CAFE, THE HOUSE OF BLUES and B.B. KINGS as well as countless festivals. He has the unique ability to play the turntables as a musical instrument while displaying superior agrobatic showmanship which makes his performances powerful and one of the most sought after DJ's in the industry. He constantly participated in and won numerous DJ competitions. He currently provides instruction to aspiring DJ's of all ages, and facilitates DJing/Music Business Workshops. Previous students have gone on to DJ for such groups as TLC, CIARA, JAGGED EDGE, THE GAME, YOUNG JEEZY, MS. B'HAVIN and appeared on MTV, BET, HOT 107.9 and 95.5 THE BEAT. MACHETE X has worked with the rock band E.X. VORTEX who was featured on OUTKAST's multi-platinum "STANKONIA" album and also produced a remake of the song BUCKWYLIN' featuring Chuck D and Professor Griff of PUBLIC ENEMY. As a producer/writer MACHETE X has worked with ESHE of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT on her solo project LIFE. LOVE. FREEDOM--THE BILLIE GAITHER PROJECT and REIGNDROP LOPES younger sister of Lisa "LEFT EYE" Lopes of TLC.
