DJ Th.O. - better known on the local party scene by his last name Osorio - plays a rich variety of styles on the turntables and computers, from groove beats to electro and noise, or more progressive sounds, always looking for something fresh. He started his career as a professional DJ in 2006 after a few years studying design and engineering at university, where he discovered his real vocation in the production of music and music events. He started playing in parties and clubs around Mexico City, and across the country. In 2007 he played at "7 Piso" for 5000 people and at "Roots" for 3000 people. He also works as a producer for his own records and other complementary projects, and has frequently been involved in production & art works. As co-founder of DFChannel in 2008, he has started producing events with the label for several rock bands in Mexico City. This year, DJ Th.O. and DFChannel have been working in the production of several events in bars and clubs, which have drawn a very enthusiastic response from the audience. '08 named resident DJ of Vombat Radio, the world's first radio playing live concerts from all over the world. In 2009 DFChannel's dj Th.O. held a monthly party, producing it together with DFChannel team and other partners such as NELOA, Indigo & SUCSUB, including the 1rst DFChannel Anniversary @ Downtown Penthouse in Mexico City. He was also invited to coproduce and play at SUCSUB's 13th anniversary and to play at events for his party co-producers. He has continued to improve DJ Th.O.'s image and created digital sites and flyers, taking shots at parties and developing a gallery full of amazing pictures. He celebrated the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 musically inaugurating two bars in downtown Mexico City. As for 2010, DJ Th.O. is pushing forward with a new iRadio show at NANOfm.net on "electronic music Fridays" with a live DJ set from the booth, as well as regular DJ sets in the city's hottest electro clubs. He also launches his podcast featuring each month's best show.
