About Me

Shortly after being born sometime in the late seventies, the last great decade, I record over a cassette-tape of my first spoken words with my own rendition of Get Off My Cloud, by the Rolling Stones. Then, 1984 is endowed with Bob Dylan’s Infidels and decide I need to learn to sing bad, and write good. 1990 - the Turf-n-Teal Peavey Bandit wins guitar amp of the year and it is all I need to start thinking about buying some flannel shirts and long-johns, which, in 1993, prompted Aaron Birks to ask me to join his band, Jabberwocky. Ditch the flannel in ’96: Dave Shipman solves a rubix cube and says he has a 4-track recorder. Later that day we form the band, Standard, featuring dueling Les Pauls and rubix races. 2001, I meet Travis Grable in a guitar shop. Later that day we master a stupid song called Placid on any combination of Martin guitars. So, I buy a Martin, and just in time for 2002 when I learn my brother and his friend can apparently write and sing songs really well. Later that afternoon I join Nightheart and we record 4 albums and 15 Christmas cds. 2008 – The future is now. I hope you enjoy myself.
