…As a child some adults wanted to submit me to the “crazy house”, but today I know that the same type of children like I was, are referred to as “indigo”.
I was born in Eastern Europe in the South of Czech Republic in a small village, inhabited by merely 100 people. I grew up in the middle of nature, and from an early age my best friends were, and still are, fairies, gnomes, souls and all life from the fifth dimension.
When I entered to middle school in the city, I started realising that the people around me were not aware of the existence of the fifth dimension like myself. I was considered an odd child and it was then that my parents were advised to have me checked by psychologists.
But from the start I knew that the human reality is just a game in which one can play and be whatever they want to be, whilst, on the other side, exists the fantasy world, dimension 5, which is only visible to those who are not scared to believe.
My big wish was, one day, to be able to express everyone that I do not lie, help them to see the same, realise their dreams, and not to take anything serious, including ourselves.
Therefore, in 1997, I founded an agency organising and promoting various parties as advised by my virtual friends, in order to build a bridge for people to experience the fifth dimension in the real. The concepts as realised by my agency were very successful hence deemed innovative and original by their audience. The cheering was aimed at my person, as the people didn’t believe that, actually, I have special advise from someone who, for a long time already, exists without a car, bank account, health insurance, and never mind a body... But I still was not happy, and my virtual friends neither. Their world is much more colourful then planet earth and, most importantly, the sound of music there is magnificent, too. Sound is the most important aspect of the magic ambient in the world behind the mirror!
The more I learned about the sound from Dimension 5, the more I started disrespecting the music here, as presented by various DJ’s on the occasion of many a party.
It was then also that, with the help of my virtual friends, we created so many essays about the potential of sound. Some of these were published in the Czech XMAG Electronic Magazine.
I wanted to re-create the type of music I had been allowed to listen to through my virtual friends but my producer friends doubted: “You are not crazy, but for this the technology does not exist yet!”
Well, then my virtual friends and me developed the following crazy idea: two blonde rebel Djanes to directly launch their career in Ibiza. The key to this was to tell the truth without inhibitions, which most of us are scared to do. The main purpose of all this was to try and find the opportunity to meet the best producers in the world, as the “White Island” is said to bring together the elite of the world of electronic sound. Teaching myself how to mix was not so difficult. Finding a tall blonde and English speaking female colleague, also not. She was from my dream, so logically she was also searching for me. I met Katy in Spain, HAH…! -She was Czech like me, and even from the same city I went to school at as a teenager. –An amazing person with the same “Neverland” above her head like me.

In 2001, we conquered Ibiza, as promised to my virtual friends, with confidence. The scenes in front of my eyes were just like from an American comedy. Very soon our fans christened us “Femme II Fatale” and our interviews were to be read everywhere in the press, which referred to us as the “Ibiza Scandal Twins 2001” ( www.myspace.com/djanelegendfemmeiifatale ). We were travelling around Europe to attend our bookings at major festivals and well-known clubs, making a rather good living and receiving offers that one should not refuse… but we did! - I wanted to produce my own magic sound, and not be marketed like a “Spice Girl”.
My soul started screaming NOOOHH… and my heart was bleeding, when I realised that this way I was not going to come any closer to being able to re-create the magic sounds my virtual friends had introduced me to… Neither Katy nor myself were happy any longer… Katy had grown tired of the hardcore nightlife and I had lost contact with my virtual world. In 2005, we first considered ending our activity as DJane Scandal Twins.
In 2007, we then played our last gig as “Femme II Fatale” at the T-Mobile Arena, Bonn. Afterwards we officially cancelled the agreement with our booking agency “PeppermintJam”, and started concentrating on new things… Katy now explores her skills as a fashion designer and followed her dream to establish a label, which is successful and enjoys growing interest ( www.nostandard.cz ).
I re-united with my virtual friends, and at the end of 2007 they sent me to the Mecca of Electronic Music, Berlin, where they helped me find a magic flat in an attic, with a separate studio overlooking the city. Here I can build upon my basic production skills as developed before in 2005, with the help of the Czech producer David Gunsel.
Well then, I am here and I am ready…
