I grew up listening to R&B and Hip Hop/Rap, but I'm into Reggae and Dancehall. I like to hang out with my family and close friends (when I do get out). If I'm in the mood to go to a club you might find me at a reggae club, whining pon di dance floor. I like to write poems/lyrics when the motivation hits me and I'm working on writing even when I think there is no motivation or inspiration. Truthfully motivation and inspiration are every where, we just have to tap into it. I do enjoy watching certain cooking shows and reading positive, motivating books that help me better myself which in turn I can share and pass on to others. Overall I like staying HAPPY so if there's something in my life that's not in tune with happiness it will be dismissed (with love) but dismissed.

First let me start by saying I AM NOT HERE TO 'DATE' or EXCHANGE PHONE NUMBERS- I use this site as a place to express myself and share positivity and creative energy with others that have similar interests. Who I'd like to meet on MySpace? All types of POSITIVE people. When I receive a friend request,I DO check out the persons page before I decide to add them.On a deeper level, I'd like to meet anyone The Almighty sends my way, but don't try to force anything though let everything happen naturally and always keep it real.SIDE NOTE **If you're one of those guys that add women to your friends space just to make yourself look like you're big "pimpin"(DO YOU, but skip me),I don't want to be a dime in your coin collection...Don't steal my line;)
Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE Reggae/Dancehall/Soca music. I still listen to and have love for R&B, HipHop/Rap. But nothing gets me going like Dancehall music (for winding up) and Reggae (for winding down). I like all the MARLEY music from BOB to Jr Gong,Kymani,Ziggy, Stephen, Julian and Rita Marley. I also listen to Beenie Man, Wayne Wonder, Buju Banton, Sean Paul, TOK, Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, Spragga Benz, Assasin, Kevin Lyttle, Mr.Vegas, Elephant Man, Sizzla, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, Yellow Man, Barrington Levy, Shaggy, Sanchez, I-Wayne, Beres Hammond and the list goes on and on. When I'm in the mood to take it way back I listen to the songs my Mom and Dad used to listen to when I was a little girl. Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, BeeGee's, Peaches and Herb, Lou Rawls, etc. I can't leave out Michael Jackson and the old school Hip Hop, Sugar Hill Gang, Whodini, BDP, Run-DMC, Salt'n' Pepa etc.If I happen to be somewhere and I'm not feeling the type of music I at least listen to the lyrics- it's interesting to hear how people express themselves through songs.
DANCEHALL QUEEN (I watched this movie at least 45 times NO LIE!!),*SHOTTAS*(I watched this movie at least 30 times and counting),ONE LOVE(watched about 10 times),(Other Jamaican films/plays.) FRIDAY and all the sequels, TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME(I love this movie),I do watch thought provoking movies every now and then, but I like to laugh so my movies of choice will almost always be a comedy.
The Food Network, THE GAME(Coby Bell is FOOOIIINE and his character is deeelllicioooussss) America's Next Top Model, Girlfriends, All of Us, Reruns of Martin, My Wife and Kids, some of the older Madd TV episodes, Everybody Loves Raymond,American Idol. I try to watch the news every now and then, just to know what's going on in this crazy world but don't like watching too much because the media tends to focus on a lot of negativity and foolishness and that can be very draining. Not that ignoring it will make it go away but I don't want to clutter my head with negativity.
Currently reading: *The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People*, *The E Myth Revisited* (why most small businesses don't work and what to do about it) *The Mastery of Love* and Peronal *Power through Awareness*Books that hold my interest: self-development, motivating books that keep me focused on staying positive and looking at life from a spiritual point of view. After all, I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience, not the other way around. Wayne Dyer is my favorite author. On a whole other note I love to read those erotica type books, the kind of book you just can't seem to put down and can finish in a day or two, those books are GOOD! They talk about some big time Fantasy type ish. The more we read the more our ideas, creativity and mind can expand which flows over into the physical.
Hero is such a strong title to give someone, so I really don't know of anyone I would call my hero, however, there are many people I admire and respect for their kindness, sincerity, contributions and wisdom. Too many to name and I'm sure there are many more that will cross my path.
