About Me

Classically trained Indie maverick from Minneapolis, Lizzy Rain released her first full length LP "Tiny Light" in early 2008 on her own Indie label, Mad Hatter Records. The sound of her elegant grand piano mixed with rock guitars, strings and horns, combined with her unique vocal style and fearless yet sincere storytelling ability, has proven popular with music lovers seeking something more than mainstream pop. The strength of the songwriting, performances and production on "Tiny Light," combined with tireless grass roots promotion, has resulted in Indie airplay in Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire and Maine.Lizzy Rain will release her second full length LP "Gypsy Heart" in late August 2009.
