It has been said in the Doctrine of Transcendental Magic that the name of Jehovah resolves into seventy-two explicatory names, called Shemahamphorash. The art of employing these seventy-two names and discovering therein the keys of universal science is the art which is called by Kabalists the Keys of Solomon.Barcelona, April 1996: Two members of Pessimist (not playing anymore), decide to form a Black Metal band with the ex-drummer from Nun Spite. Wilhkiem voice and bass, Mikkäl guitar and Nechrist as drummer are the members of the band, that starts under the name Everglade. Alter an intense working year with compositions and shows, they think about extending the group. In May 1997 QLA44Z50 (ex-Asmodeus) and Cremaster (ex-Pessimist) join the band with the keyboard and guitar respectively. Now they are five, changing the name to Shemhamphorash, name that includes the whole nature of the cosmos; the star gets closed. The sound gets richer, defining more and more a personal style.In June 1999 their first demo is made in Control Room studios, with five self produced songs. In October 2000 the band gets into the same studio again to record two new songs Matrunka and Immortal Realm, but, due to different technic problems this recording has to be refused, though both songs would be taken later for the next demo. In April 2002 Qla44z50 and Cremaster leave the band, so the rest just go on now as a trio, creating a singular style, thanks to the influences and experience obtained alter eight years of perseverance.In June 2003 they get in Feelback Studios to record, till late July, their new album Dementia, with seven songs, selfproduced, reforming a stronger, more creative and personal style. At the end of 2003 they signed the american label Blackened Moon Productions, and they release a thousand copies of Dementia in the USA. In Europe is distributed by different spanish and french labels. The band plays in Spain and France presenting the new album.2006 The band signs contract with Erzsebet Records, and in November they start the work for the new album titled “Sulphurâ€. 9 songs of Fast and Furious Satanic and Occult Black metal at it’s best!2007 album recording is finished and the band is ready to spread the disease again.
