The idea of making a band was Jim's and Nick's in may of 2006, with Jim on vocals and Nick on lead guitars. While the band was looking for a second, rhythm guitar, found Tom in november of 2006. Tom is the creator of band's name "OBEY THE DARKNESS", as well. From then on, the band had a studio, in the basement of Jim's house for rehearsals. But, the band was always looking for a drummer and found Kyrg in november of 2007.
The band made 4 songs without bass till it found Daron(bass player)in febr of 2008.
