Black Eye Shiner was formed a little over a year ago with some of the members being friends for over ten years. They are a Texas Country/Southern Rock five piece band out of Midland, Texas. Most bands start out playing mostly cover songs to fill set lists, however; Black Eye Shiner was able to load their sets with original music from the beginning. Their diversity is what makes their sound unique. With influences covering the music spectrum from Metallica, Elvis Presley, Dave Matthews Band, Seether, Keith Urban, Lucero, Chris Knight, and Van Halen, just to name a few. Black Eye Shiner can come together mixing ideas in a tiny shack, and produce some of the most rockin' tunes to come out of West Texas.
