The Plan:
To gather musical submissions from local underground and popular Hip-Hop artist, producers, lyricist etc. For and online non-for profit Mixtape.
Artist will be featured and showcased on the site weekly along with promotions for shows and events. With collaboration and expansion in mind all artist/producers showcased on the Mixtape will have access to contacts to other artist/producers etc. showcased on the Mixtape. The Mixtape track listing will be changed monthly as new submissions come in, and new artist sign on.
Artists that send submissions will have opportunities to have their material promoted/Played on websites such as nystylediary.com, Soundclick.com, And of course myspace.com. Artist can also turn in submissions for The Big Urban Mixtape; “Hot In Da Streets†street team services e.g. Events, shows, expos, etc.
This is a new vehicle where different types of hip-hop artist have a chance to come together and have their efforts heard! It’s, The Big Urban Mixtape.
