In the meantime there was also a café (The Pimm's) in Torhout (500m from my school) where we started playing Hardcore music. Every gabber of the region started going there. My friend Dj Fester mixed there on Friday, and i after school during the week, but it was still on the oldfashioned way with cd players without pitch. Then we started going to La Bush, a big disco, not far from home with Dj Bass as resident and there it was a big party every saturday. I looked a lot to him for learning, and after a time we started mixing also with turntables in the café. A lot of friends from La Bush started to come to The Pimm's on friday, we started giving our own party's there with guest dj's, and it became a big succes!!! Dj Brainwash & Dj Fester where really born:-)
In 1999 we started "The Turntable Maniacs" for our performances together, but we still did performances alone also.
In 2001 our café burned out, La Bush stopped playing hardcore, but fortunately a few kilometers farther in Walloon another big disco "La Florida" started with it! Dj Bass was also resident in La Florida and i started playing there the first hours from time to time. I played also on the Virus party's there, other party's, new years eve, sometimes when Dj Bass was to the foreign country i played there with Dj Fool all night,.., So it was a really great time!!!
In that period, i have been resident for a while to in a café "The Chemistry" on friday together with Dj Bass and Dj Fool, and resident on sunday together with Dj Fester in The Music café.
In 2002 i loved more and more Industrial Hardcore and Darkcore so i started mixing those styles.
In 2003 i was selected for playing at 10 years Megarave in the talent room, where i was one of the 3 winners. After that i started playing more and more in Holland, and The Turntable Maniacs started giving more party's in Belgium on several locations!!
But i still wanted more!! I wanted to make my own tracks!!!
In 2004 i started producing and i made a few tracks together with my friend Dj Bass from DHT; and those tracks appeared on the "DHT" label.
In 2005 i produced more and more alone because i really wanted to creaty my own style; and a few of my tracks appeared on the "RAVE-O-LUTION RECORDS" label
In 2006 i also started playing & producing Hardtechno(Schranz) because i really love(d) the whipping loops and the fact that it can be perfectly played together with Industrïal Hardcore, i love it :-)
My next release will be a full vinyl with 2 Hardtechno & 2 Industrïal tracks on a new Spanish label "MADHOUSERECORDINGS". It's a new Industrïal/Hardtechno label with several very good artists like Greg Notill, X-Tension, Sandy Warez, FL-X, Matt M. Maddox, Marcel Cousteau, Richie Gee,... In the meantime i performed already in countries like Belgium, Holland, France, Germany & Spain! And hopefully in many more in the future :-) And i played on several bigger parties like Megarave, Hellraiser vs Army of Hardcore, P.O.R.N, ...
