I have so many interests, I think it would take forever to list them all. However, my main interests include dancing, singing, acting, camping, hiking, watching movies, listening to music, etc. Dancing, singing, & acting were the three things that basically defined me in high school. Well, I'm not in high school anymore and it is sometimes hard keeping up with the things that I once loved so much. So, to help me keep up with the groove of things, I gained the priviledge of singing the National Anthem for the UNC Hockey team this last year! It was such a great experience for me! Among my other interests, being in college has opened me up to new and more exciting experiences. I really love to go clubbing. There is a club in Greeley called Cactus Canyon…I go there when I want to listen to different styles of music…it makes it more fun to dance. I also go to The Spot every once in awhile. I love little kids, they are my life and someday will even be my profession. They have inspired me so much over the years, and I feel as if it is my duty to return the favor by teaching them what I know.

Music:
I am a huge country music girl and I absolutely love Keith Urban & Rascal Flatts' music. I also have my punk-ish side, and my favorite band would definitely have to be Green Day! These 3 are my favorites in music. Recently however, I have really started listening to bands like Nickelback, Trapt, & many more! I listen to just about everything except for classical. My all time favorite genre of music is definitely country. I also love hip-hop/rap, rock, punk, and alternative! I will listen to pop, but it has started to wear off in my book, it all sounds the same to me. I love listening to the lyrics of songs, I find meaning in them, and it feels good when I do. Good lyrics to me are like quotes. They have meaning and understanding that stick with me forever. One of my favorite lyrics is from Papa Roach's song Scars. The lyric states "The scars remind us that the past is real!" That is so true, because I truly believe that nobody in this world would be the person they are today if they hadn't gone through the shitty times as well as the good. Those times in our lives create the "scars" whether they are good or bad. Those "scars" to me are the memories we have gathered over the years of our lives. I know that he isn't "music," however, Dane Cook is by far my favorite comedian! His bits hit so close to home that it makes him that much funnier! In life, I always try to remember that when I go for something I really want..."It takes 10% LUCK, 20% SKILL, 15% CONCENTRATED POWER OF WILL, 5% PLEASURE, 50% PAIN, & 100% REASON TO REMEMBER THE NAME!"

I LOVE MOVIES!!! I honestly don't think I could choose a favorite. However, I really like movies that include Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller. They are the funny men that keep me laughing. Recently, my boyfriend had me watch The Boondock Saints and I loved it. I like all kinds of movies, whether it be a comedy, a thriller, a drama, or what have you. Comedies are great to watch when I'm in a sad mood. Thrillers are perfect to watch with my boyfriend, he "protects" me. LOL! Dramas are wonderful for when I don't know what I want to watch. Anyway, I also love musicals, because I am kind-of a drama nerd. Therefore, yes, Rent & Chicago are among my favorites.

I don't have much time to watch TV anymore because of school and homework. However, when I get a chance, One Tree Hill, Lost, & Grey's Anatomy are my favorite shows. I like the shows that keep me on the edge of my seat while I watch. LOST definitely does that for me. I also like some of those high school drama shows, and that is where One Tree Hill comes in!!! Also, I am a huge sucker for shows that leave me wondering what's next by putting twists within the last 2 minutes to make sure I tune in the next week, and Grey's Anatomy is doing a great job at that!

Books:
I am finally getting better at managing my time, therefore, I actually have some extra time to read the books of my choice. Right now I am working on The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. Next, I hope to tackle The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown…again, The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom, & Go Ask Alice. I love the Harry Potter series and hope to get a chance to read more from Nicholas Sparks, like The Wedding & A Walk To Remember. My favorite genre is mystery. I love a good book when the end takes a turn I didn't expect it to take. I hate books where I can predict exactly what will happen.
Heroes:
My heroes are my parents! I love them! Who else would have put up with me over the years? LOL! No really, they have helped me through some pretty shitty times and for that I am eternally grateful.
