Currently living in Osaka, Japan, with a loving cat, a lovely roommate, and an embarrassingly wild, but charming, garden. I spend most of my week either on a bicycle or thinking of ways to improve the cycling environment in Osaka and wider parts of Japan. Projects include organizing 'jitensyashin' a bike-scavenger-hunt-photo-game-party, writing for the local bike centered free paper, and getting people to drop the 'for a girl' part of the phrase 'holy shit she's fast, for a girl'. I also plan to start giving lessons on basic bicycle repair, hopefully at an International Women’s Day event, if we can pull it together this year... (crossing my fingers)
