One 'N', Jenifer Peek was born and raised in Dover, AR. Friends call her Jen.
Jen has been singing since childhood. Jen's Mama taught her how to sing. She grew up singing in church where her Dad is a preacher. Jen's folks also gave her a healthy appreciation for classic country. As a child, one of her favorite songs was "Jolene" by Dolly Parton. She used to perform "Jolene" in her red plaid jumper and white 'go-go' boots around the house. When people asked Jen's name she would just tell them 'Jolene'. So, among many nicknames; "Jenifer Jolene" was born.
Jen did a few "Pasture Pickin" events in Dover growing up, and then went off to college and pursued other goals. After living in Dallas, Denver, and Wichita, Jen and her family live in the Little Rock area. Jen's husband John, encouraged her to pursue her childhood dream of professional singing. With a rich, warm country sound and a strong man's love and support; Jen is off and running. Stick around; see where she goes!
