Mike Nguyen, known to all as Superman Mike(Worlds Strongest Teen), is a mixture of Vietnamese & a quarter French. He was born in Linda Vista but grew up in East Side San Diego. At a young age, Mike was a misled, angry child. His involvement in the wrong crowd led to his expulsion of three different schools. He carried his rage for a long period of time until a certain incident occurred. From that point on.. Mike got more involved in sports & athletics, some of them including martial arts, football, soccer, & track. Having his newfound ability to channel his rage... Mike got acquainted with weight lifting competitions while attending Scripps Ranch High School as a junoir. Competing at the ages 17-18, he was undefeated in every state & national championships show. That qualified him for the World championships where he took 1st at age 19 for bench pressing 415lbs, squatting 450lbs, & dead-lifting 550lbs at a bodyweight of 165lbs . He has been featured in "Men's Health", "Flex", & "Vietnamese Time" magazines in 2007. Recently, mike nguyen has appeared and was interviewed on the Gregory mantell tv talk show, which was aired in NYC and LA...Currently, he is featured as a sponsored athlete on 619muscle.com website. He works as a part time fitness trainer while attending Mesa College. Mike's workouts consists of lifting weights no more than 4 days a week, each session no more than 30 minutes.The secret behind Mike's ridiculously effective workouts is his hair. Before each workout, his hair must be gelled to perfection, otherwise it hinders his performance. At each workout, he insists on wearing high top chucks to the gym. To quench his thirst, Mike favors the flavors of kool aid & grape soda, drinking them at least 3 times a day. Mike's favorite colors are baby blue & pink. His wide varieties of favorite foods include chicken alfredo, pad thai, ribeye steak, sushi, carne asada fries, & watermelon. Mike is partial to anything watermelon scented, watermelon candy, watermelon hand soap, & watermelon smoothies from Tapioca Heaven. In his spare time, Mike enjoys cruising around with his g35 "Mindy", hanging out with his friends, playing the piano & guitar. He also attends mass every Sunday. Currently, now at the age 20, he is focusing on training to compete in the Mr. San Diego and Mr. Usa to pursue his career as fitness professional. He would also like to get into acting as a movie star. Believe it or not, despite what the public perceives him as,mike is an ordinary down to earth guy whose passion in what he does best has spread around San Diego making him a local icon. He is indeed an inspiration to today's youth in health & athletics instilling self-confidence in all. Alexis Fernandez: From the first time you meet Mike, there’s no doubt in your mind what kinda guy he is . He’ll greet you with that signature smile of his & a welcoming “Helloooo !” . He’s the kinda guy who hates awkwardness & will try to make you as comfortable as possible .There’s much more to him than meets the eye . Many of you myspacers reading this probably know him as the one & only “Superman Mike Nguyen” , Strongest Teen in the Nation or just a living God . Yeah he might seem larger than life, because to some extent he really is . He’s accomplished so many goals he has set out for himself in such a short amount of time . But beneath it all, he just like you or me . But do you know what got him that far ? The passion he has for his weight-lifting . That’s one of the things I really admire about this guy . Oh, but don’t be thinking he’s doing all this for personal gain . When it comes down to it, all he wants to do is inspire people & bring about positive change . What a nice guy huh ? In every sense of the word . What I find most funny is his incredible modesty in what he's done . He exudes this vibe that makes people wanna be around him . He’s a fun guy who knows how to have a good time . His idea of fun is kickin it at a friend’s house, hustling each other outta their money during a poker session . Don’t let the whole “swole/tough guy” appearance fool you either . Behind that exterior is one of the biggest, dorkiest, goof-balls . People who know him best would say that he’s the only person that can pull of that much cheesiness on the daily . He doesn’t pretend to be anyone he’s not . He’s considerate, real, & not down for drama of any kind . I like to make fun of him all the time . On the occasion he likes to retaliate, but mostly he doesn’t . Just because he’s so nice . He’s a sweetie too . Who honestly can spend a Saturday chilling, eating pizza with his younger brother & sister ? He’s got the type of relationship with his family that I myself am kinda jealous of . He’s the guy every other guy wants to be & the guy every girl in San Diego wants to get with . With good reason, I’m sure you understand . But really, I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface on how amazing this boy is . He’s affected me in ways only he can understand . Let’s just say he’s one of those few special people that you’d be lucky to meet in yer lifetime .
Betty Thach : Miiiiiiiiike.. hMm.. What to say.. LoL.. As you can see, he's OBSESSED with working out LoL.. J/K... Okay let's get serious now. He's a GREAT guy Funny and outgoing. ANYONE can get along with this guy, he's those few guys that actually listen and care. Jenny Thai : mike mike mike.. wut to say.. well first time i saw him, i thought he was a big bad bully but the MOMENT i got to know the guy.. i realized he is pretty SUPER awesome i mean he's super talented with the piano, he's super HILLARIOUS, very fun person to be with to lift you up, and he looks like GOD when he's blocks the sun from my face. =D Mike also has a very gentle heart and is a very caring person no matter how many muscles he sprouts. Trinh Pham : I think Michael,aka mr. STUCKA lol, is a really good friend to have. Even if you havent talked to him for a while, he would still be there for you when you call him in time of need.
