Originally from Lima, Peru and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., until the age of 14, Fonseca's "musician within" began to show face since his earliest of memories, often faking illness to stay home from school and listen to records. When his family moved to Tampa, FL Fonseca found his solace once again in music learning to play the guitar. At the age of 17 he moved to Miami to study sound engineering and minor in guitar. "...My goal has always been to approach the music industry realistically and to be prepared..."
For the last 16 years, Fonseca has spent time building his studio and honing his craft both as a producer, musician and a dj. His style is truly unique combining his talent of playing instruments with his knowledge of programming and producing. Fonseca's approach is exciting, electric and full of energy. He has held dj residencies at Le Souk (NYC), Rhone (NYC), Pawn Shop (MIAMI) & can be heard on weekly radio shows Energy 92.7 (Pheonix) as well as AOL Radio.
Fonseca is a part of the production trio SPEAKERBOX which has released chart topping hits like ("TIME†feat. Michelle Shaprow & "Dancefloor feat. Crystal Waters). He recently launched his new project Fonseca vs Lane (Lauren Lane) which has had international success with there release "Afterparty:. He has also worked on projects with Jennifer Cella, Samantha Priori, Bryan Todd, P1(EsNtion), Danielle Bollinger (EsNtion) and produced and/or programmed remixes for Avril Lavigne "When Your Gone" (RCA), Monica "U Should've Known Better"(J Records), Taylor Dayne "Beautiful", Lola "I Can't Take It" (SOBE), Allie "Living In a Whisper" (Koch), Sarah Atereth "Fade Away", & Plummet "50 Ways" (Big 3) to name just a few.
2009 finds Fonseca launching his own Indie Label "ROCADENCE" where he will be releasing projects that he is producing like artist Natasha Komis and Crash Theory. Releasing a new single with Speakerbox "Mind Bounce" feat. Freedom Williams, and writing and producing music for the up and coming hit show "The Wannabes" with producer Micheal Grant.
