I am a wife and mom to a child with autism. I have a teen age stepson who I adore. I have been tending bar for a couple of decades plus. I am loyal and dependable darn it. I do not suffer fools easily and have a hard time putting up with liars, backstabbers and cowards. If you ask me a question and do not like the answer, tough. I do not sugar coat things. So if you do not want to know my thoughts do not ask, you may not like the answer. I love to be challenged and strive to meet whatever I have to. Because of being hit over the head with the autism stick I am passionate in advocacy, early intervention and autism awareness. My son is a poster child for early intervention and I will champion him to full independence. I have a huge soft spot for animals and rescue every chance I get.My family is very important to me and I am close with them all. I consider my friends as an extra benefit of life and cherish them all. Diversity in people is so cool. Because of my kid I have learned what is really important in life. I rarely take no for an answer and can be very creative in getting what I want or need in life. I am always willing to share my knowledge of autism and the laws that surround it with anyone who needs it. I am generally an easy going sort until riled, but if you get me there, watch out!
