Ron Thomas is a unique and highly gifted DJ talent to grace the clubs of Los Angeles and abroad. Since his professional entrance in 1996, this Billboard Reporting DJ has received accolades that are usually reserved for the national icons of DJ's. He first developed a broad following on GROOVE 103.1 acting as a programmer and on-air host DJ with the highest rated mixshow "The Lunch Groove Mixâ€.

Upon successfully impressing the famed dance remixers Thunderpuss, Ron was offered an apprenticeship with the duo in their work where he worked full time at their studio for over 3 years. During the Thunderpuss days, Ron’s credits include working with Barry Harris, Madonna, Sonique, Pepper Mashay, Jody Den Broeder, Chris Cox, and Happy Clappers. One of his most popular projects
was 2003's Byron Stingily vs. Widelife "I Don't Want You To Turn Me", the
Bootleg Mash-up he did along with Barry Harris...a classic still played
in clubs today!

Post-Thunderpuss, Ron was also invited by Barry Harris to work on 2 projects for the then television and cultural phenomenon QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY. "All Things" by Widelife and "Everybody Wants You To Emerge" by Fischerspooner and Billy Squier were both featured tracks on the top selling Queer Eye Soundtrack. Ron has also released several highly successful mix compilation albums. May 2000 marked the release of his first compilation titled "CELEBRATE". This was soon followed up by the double-CD entitled "MUSIC AT NIGHT". And finally “A NIGHT AT RED DRAGON†was released in honor of the legendary LA club of the same name._______________________________________________________
_____Ron Thomas isn’t only a DJ/Remixer, he’s an Executive as well. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Communications, Ron has worked as a talent manager to such acts as Bananarama, Mary Griffin and Barry Manilow through STILETTO ENTERTAINMENT, and was the A&R Manager at MEGAHIT RECORDS. He was also involved with 12" Singles Development at MOONSHINE MUSIC. His most recent career post was as US Artist Relations Manager for German music software pioneer NATIVE INSTRUMENTS. Currently he provides marketing and outreach to recording artists throughout the US. He's also an active member of NARAS (Grammy) and AES (Audio Engineering Society). In addition to all this, he's a respected veteran of the LA club scene for over 10 years headlining at the city's most prestigious clubs including The EL REY THEATRE (Red Dragon), PROBE/ICON, THE FACTORY, THE MAYAN (APLA), and AVALON (Vision) to name just a few. Most recently he was the Saturday Night DJ at THE ABBEY every week for 18 months from late 2006-2008.
