Born on the island of Bocephis, inside the Bermuda Triangle, Jed Zimmerman obviously had little contact and knowledge of American pop culture. As luck would have it, Zimmerman did find records every once in a while...Hank Williams, Elvis, and several copies of Michael Jackson's "Thriller", how these records made it to Bocephis, remains a mystery. Life inside "the triangle" was not easy, but Jed managed to find success at an early age. Zimmerman found an ol' five string banjo that had washed up along the shore, he took this as a gift from the gods. He eventually would master the instrument, winning "Banjo Player of the Year" for ten years in a row. The Bermuda Triangle Academy of Arts would eventually retire the catagory, in Jed's honor. Zimmerman, with nothing left to prove, shocked "the triangle" and picked up the six string acoustic guitar and began writing songs. He would make the songs up in his own mind, then sing them aloud, using the guitar as an accompaniment. Jed's first hit was"The Lost Triangle", which would be followed by a string of number ones, including "No Radar Love", "You, Shipwreck Me, Baby", "Not Leaving On A Jet Plane", and "In The Early Morning Bermuda".
Having accomplished everything he could in "the triangle", Zimmerman began dreaming of America. As luck would have it, on a homemade raft, Jed would be swept away in "Hurricane Rosie" and would eventually find himself traveling up the mighty Mississippi River , finding a home, a home he would call "Memphis".
In present day, Jed Zimmerman tours nationally as a singer/songwriter and is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Although he hasn't quite enjoyed the success he once gained in his past, he knows that fortune is waiting to be kind. You might say he once was lost, but now he's found. Jed has a new EP out entitled "Wrtie Now", on Madjack Records. Look for a new full length masterpiece coming this winter, released on the Madjack label.
