Dusty Frank is a musician and songwriter originally from Upstate New York now living in beautiful Southwest Florida. Dusty was the founding member and leader of two of New York's premier regional bands, Moxie and The Refrigerators.
Dusty's personal life experiences allows him to connect with people from all walks of life but he holds a special place in his heart for those who feel they are different from the norm of society. Those who are unfairly disadvantaged, disabled, in pain, wrongfully accused, lonely or just going through a difficult time in life.
Dusty's own suffering and road to healing are portrayed in his songs as his troubled past allows him to identify with the downtrodden. His goal is to touch others through his music which he hopes provides a message for those in need of comfort, peace and hope.
Dusty is currently working on his first solo CD and is proud to announce that Ron Wikso, former drummer of Foreigner and current drummer of The Gregg Rolie Band will be playing drums on the CD as well as assisting in the engineering and producing of the album which is scheduled for release in early 2009.
