The Chupacabra Witnesses is a two-piece band from Brazil.
We can't say that they are from a particular place, due the fact that Edu Cesar (Guitar and vocals) is from Porto Velho, RO (Brazil) and André Peniche (Drums and vocals) is from Santos, SP (also Brazil), both living in São Paulo. Both comes from another project called "The Phlatos" which included Danilo Soligo on the drums.
Their sound don't respect or follow any kind of label or brand what so ever. They have no musical boundaries.Right now, The Chupacabra Witnesses starts as a fun project, exploring all kinds of sounds, different instruments and tastes.
Their musical influences comes from many different bands of many different musical styles such as: Nirvana, Weezer, The Beatles, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, The Mars Volta, The Pixies, The Black Keys, Wolfmother, Arctic Monkeys, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Os Mutantes among many, many others.
