Lifted, in part, from Wikipedia:Charlie Peacock is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, session musician, and author. He is often noted as a unique musical and lyrical voice, intelligent, innovative, and difficult to categorize. His resume includes touring artist, much-recorded songwriter, record company president, seminary student, jazz pianist/composer, and most recently, Sr. A&R consultant to mega-music publisher, Sony/ATV. He is currently working on new singer-songwriter material and his next book, tentatively titled "Buechner's Rock." Set for release in 2008 -- a remixed/remastered version of West Coast Diaries Vol II from 1988 and Arc Of The Circle, an improvisational duets recording with saxophonist Jeff Coffin featuring guests drummer Derrek Phillips (Charlie Hunter), guitarist Marc Ribot (Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, John Zorn), electronica artist Tony Miracle of Venus Hum, percussionist Ken Lewis, and Joe Murphy on tuba.Charlie will be touring all of 2008 and 2009, speaking and making music.
