It beginning when a reunion among in remainder who still live, join from several fraction bands coming back around year 2005. Interest to profoundest music and unresolved struggle has discovered us, which are descended from Batu Gajah, Perak, with set up a band where code-named Beneath The Remains.
Our journeys of music begin in 90’s environment, the period of time where Beneath The Remains not yet exists. At first we are called by Stubborn DC whose lead by Alon as lead guitar, where bail a lot sense of metal music as Slayer, Death, Carcass, Napalm Death and Machine Head.
Stubborn DC at that time staffed by Duan as second guitar, Talib - bassist, Kreator - drummer and Alan as vocalist. At that moment Stubborn DC get many invitation for played gig around Perak and strongly focused in metal music.
Around year Y2K, Duan and Talib were leaving Stubborn DC; they want give commitment to their respective careers. Around that year Duan has married and Talib stick to pursuit his happiness. At that time Eddie (ex-guitar Monochrome) has taken over bassist position when Talib leaves Stubborn DC. Eddie is brother to Alon, his capable of playing music instruments.
From time to time Stubborn D.C dangerously active which show around Perak. Until Kreator take in action leaving Stubborn DC to provide focus to his career. Alan, vocalist Stubborn DC fill drum vacancies who are abandoned by Kreator. Line-up for Stubborn D.C at that moment after Kreator leaving are Alon (1st Guitar), Eddie (Bassist), Eday (2nd Guitar), Alan (Drummer), Joe (1st Vox) and John as back-up vocal for Stubborn D.C.
With the latest line-up, we has fetch busk gig in Kuala Lumpur at Blue Planet. Many bands busk respectively. to promote they music. Eddie also played with is agonist band “Monochrome†as lead guitar antagonist to Stubborn D.C.
In the early years 2005, Alan also leaves Stubborn DC and performs marriage with beloved wife, his gives focus on his family. Many things happen at that year. Joe, had set up a band called Dust To Dust (D2D) and gives his commitment to his own band. In the year 2005 also Stubborn DC's name converts to Beneath The Remains (BTR). Line up for Beneath The Remains at that time staffed by Alon, Eddie, Min and John.
Min (ex-drummer Monochrome) fill the drum position after several changes has made.
Which a new line-up, Beneath The Remains (BTR), bring a two piece self material (Trapped & Weak) whose become decorator to many gigs, beside a cover songs. At January 2006, BTR has expose in ROTTW magazine in EXPOSE column.
Unfortunate odorless, by the end of year 2005 Min (drummer) involved with accident and cause his leg broken. Min decides to leave drum position after several discussions with band member. With the Min loss as drummer, BTR struggle not stop yet. In November 2005, Wak as sessionist to BTR fill Min vacancies as drummer. Previously Wak has play a lot gigs with big name in Malaysia music industries like Mathari, SYJ08, Bactrim and many more (or more to come). At Râ€ONE & SZ studio is BTR's place to find song inspiration and idea to seek well-defined melody, compact, clean and heavy, also offbeat shift. At the same time BTR played gig around Perak.
When love bring happiness, people must changes. Alon as the leader to BTR decide to leave the band to give his commitment to his beloved wife, child (Alon JR) and his career. Alon leaves do not mean he leave BTR forever, his creative brains has help BTR make a song and sound engineering to BTR. Alon like Godfather to BTR.
Line- up still remain at the time was Eddie, John and Wak. For they love to play heavy sound BTR not stopped there yet. BTR has taken Crook (ex-Monochrome) as 2nd vocal, Eday (D2D) as 2nd guitar and Azhar as bassist. Present BTR staffed by 6 local dude of Batu Gajah, Perak
Which this new line-up BTR finds a lot gig to promote BTR music around Malaysia. The biggest show BTR ever played is “Rock against Drug Show a Core Fest†at MCPA Hall at Kuala Lumpur.
Latest news, BTR in post-production to release them EP and 4 material already completed recorded. BTR also brainwash they head to make new material for next future released. Last word and not more give support to Beneath The Remains for satisfaction metal musician at same group.
