About Me

Words of wisdom from Mrrrrrrrrrrrr......Kennedy!

HAHAHAHA! What the heck is going on in the world?

Hey readers, I'm Casey. I spell things wrong ALL THE TIME. I am also 20 years old. I am going to a college. It is called SC4, and I'm not embarrassed or ashamed I go there by any means. I like it. It's easy. I don't mind being naive to the world for as long as I can by going there. Seriously though, I don't mind going there. It's really cheap and I still get the same stuff. I figure I'll save money by taking random classes here than at some actual university. Am I right? I'm not sure what I want to do in life yet, so I'm just playing it by ear, and whatever happens happens. I like to be laid back about it, because things eventually figure themselves out with time. I mean, I know I have to do stuff too, but the point is that I'm not worried or stressed. It's not worth it. It'll come along. So I'm taking classes there and we'll see where that takes me. I'm a-hankerin' with the idea of opening my own small business, which I think would be sweet. I mean, I could work for myself, set my own hours, and have fun doing what I do. Plus I wouldn't be under someone, which is nice because I don't really enjoy reporting to someone else. It'd be nice to open some sort of entertainment thing in Port Huron or somewhere, like laser tag or something new and fresh for the youths, you know, to give back to the community that gave me so much and will probably give me cancer. I have a LARGE family, my parents and 5 sisters and 4 brothers. I like it most of the time, but I suck at being nice to my family. I'm not that mean, more like rude. I do really like everyone though, they're all different and I wouldn't trade them for anything. My parents are sweet too, I severely under-appreciate them, along with my family as a whole. I go to Grace Ministry Center for church, where I love it. It's a big part of my life, the only part that really matters for anything. God is at work there, and the vision and teachings of that church are good. Plus, the people that go there and the relationships formed with them are life changing for sure. You can meet God there at anytime. I do love God with all my heart and my desire is to serve him and show his love to others all the time. No matter who it is, I try to show God's love in every situation to everyone. It makes a difference. That's what true Christianity is; showing love to everyone. That's what Jesus did, right? It's not about legalism, rules, politics, abortion or anything like that. It's about loving people and letting them know that God does too. Sounds pretty cliche, but I think it sums it up. I like to get to know people really deeply and personally if I can. People usually have a tough time opening up and admitting their problems. I try to get to people's cores to see what makes them tick, why they do what they do. I can be carefree because I know God has a plan for everyone, including me. Everything happens for a reason, so why worry? That gets no one anywhere. I can live well because I know my purpose in life. I would love to talk to anyone about church, God, religion, anything. For me, as cliché as it sounds, Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship. It's the most important thing ever. And that's who I am. Also, I am a sports nut. I like to play, watch, listen to, coach, and read about, whatever, sports. It probably actually annoys people from time to time. I have swell friends that will talk of it with me though, which is nice. I love baseball though, and always will. I love the Detroit Pistons, the Detroit Tigers, and pretty much every Detroit professional team. Oh man, I'll play sports anytime, anywhere. I'm good for any pickup game anywhere, for real. So play me. I am extremely COMPETITIVE, so if I come off like too proud or trying too hard, that's who I am. I'm not trying to boast. I will try hard at any and everything; those who know me know this. I'm working through issues with pride, and I admit it, I like to be best at most things. I try not to brag though, I just try to play my game and win. I will talk smack though, when I feel it's necessary. I'm pretty good at poker and Egyptian rat screw (Christina BATTAGLIA can attest to this, along with Ann Grant and anyone else who has played me). Bottom line, I love competitive things. Call me up and we'll do something, basketball, football, tennis, whatever. I love it all. I also play guitar. I taught myself, thus I'm not really good. I know the basics, which is enough for me. I can play songs if I have the music. I like to play, and wish I had more time to do so. My GIRLfriend Christina and I are basically in the same boat. We both aren't experts, but we like to play. Plus, she's really pretty and good. She puts up with me.Dang. I might write some more later.

Dude, Something like Silas is sweet. I'm telling you that up front. I like Mercyme, I like Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, and Switchfoot is pretty good. I like AC/DC, Jimi, The Who, Weird Al, Oasis, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme, and I like the Lord of the Rings music. I'll give rap and country a chance too. I will not give scream music a chance. I don't want it.

1. What About Bob? 2. Bourne Supremacy 3. Bourne Identity 4. Ocean's 11 5. Count of Monte Cristo 6. All Lord of the Rings 7. Kung Pow 8. Heavyweights 9. Napoleon 10. GoodburgerMovies aren't a big thing with me. Generally I just don't want to see rated R movies. I have to be really careful about which movies I see, because it does affect me. I don't need to watch a whole bunch of garbage on the screen to be entertained, and I'm not willing to compromise my convictions for a movie.

Television:

We don't have tv channels at our house, but I really like Sportscenter, and pretty much everything sports related. I like America's Funniest Home Videos, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, Whose Line is it Anyways?, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Simpsons, and game shows, ones with trivia especially.

Books:

The bible, Harry Potter, Purpose Driven Life, most sports books. And trivia books and stuff. And comics are pretty good too, especially Calvin and Hobbes.

Heroes:

John T. Hobbs Stuart Scott Jackie Robinson Weird Al

Church and kids

It has always been a mystery to me why children raised in a good Christian home either turn out to be on fire for God or 100% against him. I'm trying to figure out what happens to make one go the way ...
