South African musician and adventurer.My dream is to set a world record for being the first woman to circumnavigate the entire African continent on a bicycle.I previously cycled through South Africa, from Johannesburg to Cape Town, becoming the first woman to do so solo.January 2010 I became the first person to have cycled around South Africa solo. Having covered a distance of 5951 kilometers in 100 days!11 February 2011 I will launch from Cape Town (South Africa) to live my dream of becoming the first woman to cycle around Africa.I have a passion for drumming, music (esp rock), people, Africa, arts and culture.What I hope to achieve with this journey, is to inspire others to live their own dreams.
