Hit Street was found in Nice, located in the south of France, in 2003 by Shade, a talented musician and producer, and Uptempo, a hip hop DJ-producer and soul music lover.Shade and Uptempo's previuos experiences allowed them to earn a solid street credibility in France, where they worked with mainstream platinum selling artists like NTM, Faf La Rage or IAM.The next step was to export their very soulful sound to the US, where "the real game is". in 2004 Hit Street started collaborating with major New York mcs like Punchline (from Lyricist Lounge featured group Punch n'Words), Havoc from Mobb Deep, Tragedy Khadafi.In 2005 the release of a dancehall oriented track named "Handz Up" feat. jamaican superstar Mr Lexx opened up the door to heavy radio rotation, especially in Italy and France, where the track peaked number 4 in radio airplay charts.Hit Street is currently in the US for more and just joined the brand new BEEHIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP founded by legendary producer and Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers and mainstream executive Michael Ostin.
