So I suppose the is the part that's about me. Well lets see..... It's gotten to the point where I must lie about my age. I can tell you my real age: 25ish or I can tell you the age I look: 16ish. PREDATOR'S BEWARE!!!! I JUST MAY BE LEGAL!!!!! At one point i thought i was too old to be acting childish and looking like i was still in high school, but what can I do about that? Nuthin' so I think i'm over it. That's part of my generation. 30s are the new 20s right? So then according to this logic the 20's are the new teens therefore I look my age. I work with people with mental illness. I love my job! They say it takes one to know one! I must say, knowing the background of the majority of the clinicians I work with, this particular saying is TRUE!!! That brings me to my favorite pass time: attending as much therapy as I can afford. Two years and counting..... SHEOW!!!! I'm really into knowing why I think the way I do and feel the way I do and why the fuck I am this way. I'm strange get over it!!!! At least..... thats what I've been told since I was a kid.I like to write, that doesn't mean anything.... but i wish it did. Where most people are conscious of what they wear I'm pretty much a slob. I wear whatever doesn't smell too bad. When I have time I have varying degrees of clean/dirty clothes. My system depends mostly where my clothes are. When they get into the hamper, it's over. So clothes on the floor, on the chair, and the hanger are fair game. Sometimes I don't wash my face for months at a time, but no one knows because it doesn't look like it (probably more information than you want to know.) I was blessed with a good complexion so I never wear makeup, but when I do i'm pretty good at it. Mostly though its just for fun.
My tastes seem to run with the seedy underbelly of most major cities. I love dive bars with sticky tables that don't care if you smoke inside. Alcohol tolerance is really high. Quit drinking for a year and the next time I had three cocktails with only a slight buzz. My friend had the same 3 drinks and she threw up. I guess I'll never be a cheap date.....*sigh* Johnny Walker Black Label neat is my drink of choice though this fluctuates since I like sweet "girly" drinks too. This woman at work may have just sealed my fate: she gave me a flask last week. I've already used it, bought some OJ on the way to work....
If you notice I don't have many friends. Most of the ones chosen are people that I actually know or have met. I put a lot of energy into my friendships. Its well worth being my friend although i'm hard to be friends with.... so i make up for it by showing them how much i love them. Oh yeah, here's where I'm going to say the thing that makes peoples eyes light up when I tell them; then all of a sudden I'm an instant friend (i'm theirs, they aren't necessarily mine)....ready? "I went to bartending school."

update... I now hate my job due to having a suck ass program head. I've loved Tom Waits for several years, but my interest has increased 64 fold. Living on the nickel is difficult. I've had clients there before. Hobos and junkies....I love them and I help them. now......back to my flask.
