i would like to thank each and every one of you who has participated in leaving your comments and love for Taylor, as well as visiting my sister Taylor sites. when i made this i wasn't sure what to expect with it, and i had more of a response than i thought i'd have. the other site even has thousands of people as friends who are giving condolances. i think Taylor would be extremely happy and touched to see all of us who care. a big thanks to ALL who have put their heart out there for her!

hi, my name is Kristen. i live in VA, about an hour away from VCU where Taylor Behl went to college. i have some friends there, and heard about her disappearance pretty much right away. no, i did not know her. why, you may ask, did i make this page then? i sincerely hope none of you think i am creepy. murders like this always touch me extremely deeply. i was distraught to find out she had infact, died. many people are commenting on Taylor's myspace page but many people would like to say something who aren't on Taylor's friend list, so your "shoutouts" can be made here.
i did not follow this case very closely, but i did think of her often. as i'm sure you all know her body was found exactly one month after she disappeared. police believe they already have the man who killed her, as evidence shows pretty clearly in this case. it's strange how Taylor's myspace and livejournal sites seem eerie now...but it haunts me to see "last log-in: sept. 4, 2005" on her page. it appears to me that Taylor seemed depressed and was looking for love and acceptance. and perhaps, that's how her life fell into the wrong hands. she found love in the wrong places.
i understand what depression is like. i wish Taylor could have gotten help to be a stronger girl and be able to see what "that man" was really like. but i suppose this is a learning experience for us all. she'll never be forgotten. i really feel for Taylor's family and friends. i wanted to do something nice to keep her memory alive (not that it won't be anyway). i see this as a type of memorial. i personally believe in little expressions such as these as a way to grieve. me and my sister have cried just reading the comments left for Taylor on her myspace. and i feel like that if something were to ever happen to me, i would be touched if someone did something like this in honor of ME, even someone who didn't know me, but my life had touched them anyway.
this was part of an entry of an april 18th '05 livejournal post Taylor made. this struck me down deep.

001. be happy
002. make a difference in someone's life
003. find real love"
everyone deserves to be happy. Taylor seemed like she struggled to find happiness, and so it does hurt to know that she was taken in such a brutal way. we have yet to find out her cause of death or further details about it, but i think it was just a senseless act due to "that man's" psychological issues...it couldn't be more sad.
she said she wanted to make a difference in someone's life. that she achieved! definitely not in the way we would have wanted...but the fact that i made this page, and saw that, well, wow. i know she has touched the hearts of many. and perhaps has taught more women to be more cautious, wary, and aware of possible dangerous men.
Taylor will live on in the hearts of us all. those of us who don't know her, love her in an empathetic and supportive way. we cared about her, we wanted to see her come home, and she has made an impact forever.
