Etno Histria: probably one of the most exciting summer weeks for young folk musicians... !
Since 2003, every summer, about 50 musicians from all over Europe (and often beyond) aged roughly around 17 to 25 meet by slovenian sea, to spend a great time together. Enthusiastically learning from each others' musical traditions, arranging tunes and songs for the colourful all-participants-orchestra and performing them in public, and of course jamming a lot.
Lots of cool things happening there: sessions (some more quiet, some really wild), dancing, making friends ... theatre is an important element, too, and much more ... a week full of emotions, colours and surprising moments, packed with experiences, exchange and - of course! - great sounds ... in other words, it succeeds quite well in holding a nice balance between being really serious and really crazy at the same time.

Etno Histria's last editions, for instance, included: experiences with a giant welcoming whale ... swimming in the Mediterranean sea ... fabulous orchestral performances at Koper, Škofije, Bled, Ljubljana and Izola ... excursions to the waterfalls of hell and its marvellous sounds ... busking competition in the streets of Ljubljana ... late night and very late night sessions ...
