Ernie’s Hightimes

Ernie’s Hightimes is no band in classical way, but more a collection of demos, jamsessions and liverecordings from bands, in which I played in the past more than 30 years. My name is Ernie G. and I was born on……, was found by my mother as she fixed the bedclothes anyway in the past millennium ;-)) and made with the tender age of 15 music on and off to a mission. With 16 I additional tried to bother my environment with playing guitar. In which I succeeded without any probs. First gig: July, 22 in 1976 with the band Crock as a singer. Furthermore many things happened, which I’ll show you right here on the site. For example I played along since the end of the seventies with Alvin Lee, Al DiMeola, Philip Catherine, Jan Hammer, Jeff Beck, Chick Corea, Dixie Dregs, Status Quo, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton and many more. Then my turntable broke in two…------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ --- Ernie's Hightimes ist keine Band im klassischen Sinne, sondern vielmehr eine Ansammlung von Demos, Aufnahmen, Livemitschnitten von Bands, in denen ich in den vergangenen mehr als 30 Jahren gespielt habe. Mein Name ist Ernie G., ich wurde am...., jedenfalls im vergangenen Jahrtausend gefunden (Beim Bettenmachen ;-)) und habe ab dem zarten Alter von 15 Jahren die Liebe zur Musik immer wieder mal zur Berufung gemacht. Mit 16 versuchte ich dann zusätzlich noch meine Umwelt mit meinem Gitarrenspiel zu nerven. Was mir meist problemlos gelang. Erster Gig: 22.06.1976 mit der Band Crock als Sänger. In der Folge kam dann noch 'ne Menge dazu, was ich hier natürlich auf-/abarbeiten möchte. Zum Beispiel habe ich ab Ende der 70er u.a mit Alvin Lee, Al DiMeola, Philip Catherine, Jan Hammer, Jeff Beck, Chick Corea, den Dixie Dregs, Status Quo, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton und vielen anderen mehr zusammengespielt.
