The Pedestrians were founded when Mark Reineke met Jared Neufer by happy accident at Arizona State University. They quickly realized their mutual musical affinity and began to play together. Mark knew Alex Atallah, who soon joined as drummer. After a long search for a front line, The Pedestrians enlisted friends Taylong Smyth and Joey Russo, completing the lineup. The band has been actively recording and performing since.
