January of 2005 saw the first 4 members of Article 5 come together. Matt was playing in a band that needed a singer. After many aagghhh-ditions Ken came on board. The next to join was Pat on bass. Finally, the search for a second guitar player ended with the addition of Tim. Two years and 6 drummers later the final piece of the puzzle was found under the sofa cushion. There, next to a dead French fry was Tony.With the line up complete, Article 5 has put together a setlist that excludes the same old rehashed bar tunes. Article 5 is a rock band that is not afraid to add its unique musical personalities, influences and talents to the diverse mix of songs it covers. In the setlist you will find AC/DC, Judas Priest, The Stones, Billy Idol and the like. But you will also find the Chili Peps, Franz Ferdinand, and Culture Club. Culture Club???
